What do you do with your figures?

i collect, but i open and pose them. my display is like my bonsai tree, i stand there and constantly refine the poses and groupings.

Exactly. Collect loose for display.

Once a new figure goes into a group, you can revise the poses of the other char. all you need to.

Currently, I just collect and leave boxed. Really bad urges just rip them open and play though.

I mostly collect and display, customize mostly for my own collection but also as a hobby business, and I play with my nephew all the time. but not with the good stuff, just the fodder bin for epic family room battling. so the only playing most of my collection gets is cleaning and altering poses. all vehicles are fair game for flying around. anakin's fighter randomly takes off from the fridge quite a bit now that I think about it. lol

I do have a pretty standard tradition, however. Any time I obtain a new female ML or DCU, I will take pictures of an Iron Man figure (extremis stealth variant, usually) promptly grabbing their hind-quarters with his open hand and then violently spam said picture on my fiance's facebook with all caps messages saying something like "HE'S AT IT AGAIN!!!!"

I keep everything moc except my Marvel Legends that i pose on several shelves.
