Whew! I moved and got a new job but things are kind of getting into a groove now. Customizing time is just 'round the bend. I have the fig all planned out which seems to be the longest part of my process. Can't wait to dive into the cuttin' n grindin' n what not. :-)
Finished up the final touches on my secret santa custom... I kind of want to post it on figure realm, but I don't want to ruin the surprise for who's receiving it though. I'm not sure if I should go ahead and mail it out either though as its still October :l
I am the ultimate super hero, I am GamPoolVerine!!
It's not about getting something as you envisioned it, it's about getting a work of art from another customerizer. If I wanted the person to make it exactly to my specs I would have commisioned them. I can't wait at all to see how someone sees a character I want.
Speaking of which I had to have Count join in and help finish the figure. With my work schedule changing the way it has I haven't had ANY time to work on figures at all and I'm not sure exactly when i will have the time to do so. I came up with the initial recipe and concept and he has done the sculpting and paint apps. It kind of works out as he and I have started to work on figures together more and more. Pretty much all the stuff we work on recently has the other person involved in some way or another. As for the custom that I would be getting, I am going to be giving it to him for the time he has spent working on this. I can tell you the figure is freaking sick and I am really really happy with the recipe I have come up with. I am actually considering getting one for myself lol. I just wanted everyone to know that it's not that I didn't want to finish or work on this but life has just prevented me and it was unforseen. This way everyone still gets a fantastic figure and Count (who missed the deadline) actually gets to participate.
