Cool pic Terry. Nice fire effect on the guns. Also reminds me I need to get another one of those Dr. Doom MS thrones. 100% guaranteed to make any villan look more diabolical. What background set piece is that?

Does your Baron Zemo also have a limp neck, or is he just taking a bullet to the head? I'd know, as mine always looks sad too. I'd like to think my other action figures call him Emo Zemo.

@Spoon, thanks! The fire effects are wrist blasts from the Revoltech War Machine. They fit right over the muzzles on a number of 1/12 firearms, which is nice since you don't have to mod all of your weapons. The MS Doom throne rocks--I picked that figure up specifically for the base

Background is part of the Dracula's Castle set from the short-lived Jakks-Pacific "Van Helsing" line. I stumbled upon it on a random eBay search for "Marvel Legends Castle" in my search for HYDRA props. The paint detail is lacking but I got it for a good deal at $20 shipped. Might repaint it.

LOL at the Zemo "limp neck." My intent was actually to have him eyeing the grenade at his feet. I customized mine with a Revoltech joint at the neck to fix said crappy neck joint and also modded a LOTR sword and sheath. This one can look all kinds of ways without going all narcoleptic! It's a shame the stock figure has so many flaws--the sculpt and paint detail are very good.

That's good to know about the Revoltech fire effects and Van Helsing castle. I honestly didn't see the grenade at his feet, lol.

I've always enjoyed that classic Baron Zemo look. I agree it's sad that the figure has so many issues.
