I will probably grab the first issues of each, but whether or not I continue from there totally depends on the stories and what direction the characters histories have taken.

I tried all the #1s...dropped 25 of them right away. I tried real hard to like them and am now down to 6...JLA, All Star Western, Aquaman, Flash, Deamon Knights and Northlanders. (well 5 cause northlanders does not count)

I use to collect 20+ titles and have done so since about march 1986 ( i remember this as issue 238 of the JLA was the first issue i bought and started collecting comics regularly after this. needless to say i have 20,000 plus comics now (going on 80 long boxes...uuug!) i just dont think the new stuff is interesting anymore and even though i get 30% off my comics and free bags and boards i just dont enjoy the new stuff. I have recently been looking over a lot of 70s and 80s back issues and am buying complete runs of comics i have never read or owned. its amazing that i can get old issues in almost perfect shape for less per issues than any regular run D.C. comics. I also enjoy them more and love the fact that you can often get a complete run of comics from the first issue till its last and no one will pull the rug out from under your feet like D.C. just did to me!!! as an example...around 350 continuous issues of action, batman and detective in my collection and then they end these like they ment nothing!
I Collect Action Figures...All of Them!!!

I've never really read much in DC comics, but I've been meaning to. A reboot seems like a good place for a DC newbie to start, so I don't feel completely lost, so I actually think I may check it out. Going into it without prior knowledge or views on the universe, I'll probably be able to hate it less than a lot of long-time fans seem to.

I love the idea of the reboot...i think it gives them a chance to catch up with current trends and sciences, and also give their characters a more relateable background. :D

Honestly, not a fan of the new 52. Read a couple various titles, and maybe as a long-time fan, I'm a bit jaded to see new costumes, new back stories (with the exception of Batman), and new perspectives and attitudes. Rather, I would like to see the characters progress, age, evolve. I thought Batman was really pushing the envelope with the Batman Inc, story. I loved the idea of Superman not flying and walking around the Earth in order to get in touch with humanity again. I guess its just me, but not a big fan of new 52.

I LOVED the "grounded" story line. It took Superman from an out of touch overpowered boring character in to a symbol of truth, Justice, and the American way. It brought back the love I had for him as a child and it was just great!

You and I both. I too thought it brought him back in touch with people, and that has always been endearing to me. This alien being, who has the power to rule us, would rather help us grow as a race, and will protect us with his own life.

Just wanted to say that your screen name and your signature are AWESOME!

So... anyone been reading Trinity War?

Personally I like DC since the reboot. Yeah, their continuity is a complete mess now - more so than before, from what I can tell - but Batman has been solid since issue #1, I enjoyed the first 8 issues of Morrison's Action Comics, I've been quite happy with Red Hood and The Outlaws (though I'm not as up-to-date as I'd like to be), and Justice League Dark is quite good from what I've read so far.

Could great stories like Court of Owls/Night of the Owls still have happened pre-reboot? Sure. But that doesn't mean they are any less valid right now.

I'm really tired of all the reboots in the super heroe world in General, apart from a few exceptions in the dc movie universe I could go without reboots altogether. Who cares about messed up continuity, this is a world where people where there underwear on the outside! So does it really matter?
