Transformers Fireblasts

I decided to jump into the wide world of making energy and fireblasts for my various figs and started with my favorite toyline the transformers. I started by covering each of my jets guns in a thin layer of packing tape. I then covered the area cover by the tape in a thick layer of hot glue and stuck it to a flat surface. I then zig zagged some designs and i had piece 1

for piece 2 I just let the glue run down the sides of a sharpy cap (I first lubed it with cooking oil so it wouldn't stick.

the last piece was the easiest I simply made a glob of glue then pulled it up with plyer then poured cold water on it to cool.

I just connected the 3 with little globs of glue and I had instant fireblast.

Now came the color.

unless I plan on mass producing these I really don't need to by a can of clear spray paint and different guys have difernet color blast. I used Hard as Nails nail polish then mixed it with food coloring. i didn't give it a full mix since I wanted the blast to have different levels of color to it (red, orange and yellow)
