Hey Dude,
The only thing I can tell you is to practice with it. The first time I did An drybrush , it turned out pretty cool. What I did was, painted the entire figure black, let it dry. Then take your brush and dip it into the color you want your figure to be then on a paper towel or cardboard brush the excess paint off the brush til you can barely see any more paint. There is still paint on the brush...believe me. Now quickly brush the paint onto the figure. You should start to see the results right away. After you do it for a while you can use different paint colors to get a cooler results. Remember to use quality acryl paints and you should do well.
