Need help on figuring out what drybrushing is and how you do it?

Hey Dude,

The only thing I can tell you is to practice with it. The first time I did An drybrush , it turned out pretty cool. What I did was, painted the entire figure black, let it dry. Then take your brush and dip it into the color you want your figure to be then on a paper towel or cardboard brush the excess paint off the brush til you can barely see any more paint. There is still paint on the brush...believe me. Now quickly brush the paint onto the figure. You should start to see the results right away. After you do it for a while you can use different paint colors to get a cooler results. Remember to use quality acryl paints and you should do well. Thanks for the advice and help. I'm working on a Samus figure and started with a black undertone for all the armor lines. I thought I'd try a new technic on it. Thanks again.

Samus...are you going to use an Ultron body and sculpt some boobs? There's no classy way to say that :]

Nope found a cyborg Spiderman at a flea market and am using it. It has the really girly body structure to it. I do sense that I'm gonna be using alot of Green Stuff however.

You poor poor person. Do a search for Samus or Metroid for pics. She is the protagonist from the Metroid series of games. Although her suit has gone thru many incarnations I am going to do the classic orange red and yellow.

What is Green Stuff? xD

Green stuff is a sculpting putty that you mix yourself. It come together in a brick with one half blue and the other yellow. Once mixed they turn green and become very pliable. After green stuff dries it turns to a plastic that can be sanded and painted.
