:( aww man i just did some sculpting with the fixit sculpt,

and i am sorry to say it is not as good as i was expecting :( , ok so you got like 2 hours to

work with the stuff and it does not sag but it is basically a bit better version of milliput.

ok i will use the stuff cause i spent like ?20 on it but i have got to say it is not that good and definitely not worth the money

I honestly think its good, and better than sculpey. I say this because its a lot stronger and bonds better. And i'm sure the working time is around 4 hours. I sculpted most of of my figures with fixit sculpt. But i also use sculpey so i incorperate both into my figures. Places where it needs to be stronger, such as jaws, teeth, etc. I use fixit sculpt, and I've been using sculpey for a while now but i found that fixit sculpt is the way to go for a more stronger, sturdier piece. In my opinon at least ^_^ Later! Also, have a cup of water near by, it helps a lot, cuz it gets sticky at times.

I've probably ingested so much Apoxie Scuplt... I tend to lick my finger instead of using a cup of water.

Really, any sculpting material is good if you know what you want to make and know what you're doing. Heck, I even liked using Play-doh (but you shouldn't because when it dries out it crumbles :] )

I use Sculpey because I can just go to the store and buy it instead of going through an overly-complicated (and expensive) process of paying for Aves online. I don't like that I have to boil or use a hair-dryer to make the Sculpey but it lets me work much faster than having to wait for Aves to self-harden. I would rather use the Aves stuff for sculpting small detail or fragile parts like teeth, like Jay said.

Waiting for Aves to harden is a bit of a drag and for some reason it doesn't seem to bond as well as my green stuff used to but I do like the end result of it. Another plus to the aves is that it seems to bond to paint very well.
