This is great work, and you almost nailed it, but he's not quite screen accurate. You didn't paint the silver web lines on his costume. Other than that, great job, be proud.
Interestingly, the original version of Zorro wore a full face mask as well, rather than the domino mask/bandana he is known for today. Nice work.

Looks great! What paint did you use for the metal?

Nice! Did you have to crack the torso?
Any chance you could type up a list so we'd have an idea of what to ask for?

Nice work. I was going to ask how well she balance, then I saw the foot supports, lol.
Nice touch making him shorter than 6 in. It's more accurate to the comics, where Dick is noticeably shorter than Bruce.
Very Noice. I like NECA,but they get so lazy sometimes with their sculpts. I could even like the AVP figs with painted netting, you can see it in the arcade cutscenes, but they way they did it looks sloppy.
Okay, the retro suit makes more sense . Your original post said he was from the far future, which didn't jive with the modern day armor. Add that last bit of info, and there will be no confusion.
Is the custom battle damage on his mask?

I like the concept, and it's clear you put work into this. That said, if he's from the far future, you could take his armor further, really make it look futuristic. Play around with the design, as it is, he's really just the Fugitive with a few extra accessories.
This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, and if you take it further I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
Nice work. In the future you could try shrinking the heads with acetone to make them fit better.
I know you said this is one of a kind, but if for some reason you ever revisit this, I would suggest one thing. Assuming that the pouches over his shoulder are for ammo or gear. It would make more sense to attach it upside down. If he was in a real firefight, the upside down configuration would allow for a quick release and grab. The way it is now, he would be fumbling to open and remove from the pouch, given how high it sits.
Great work overall though, the color scheme really pops and fits the concept. It would be interesting if this form of Trooper used Kyber crystals to power their blasters.

Neat. Didn't she die rather unceremoniously as well?

Wow. Wonderful effects and paint applications. She looks, well, sexy as hell! How do you do such clean paint apps with white? I've always found it difficult to maintain that shade without dirtying it up during the process.
Very, very nice! Excellent, smooth sculpt, and great paint apps, no mean feat when using white!
Honestly, this is a really, really nice figure. Great concept and use of parts. Great paint application, and done in a way that paint rub won't be a problem. If you ever remake her, you could use Lady Deadpool's hair for a even more dynamic look.
This is pretty nice, considering the base you used.
Critique: Your sculpting is a little rough, nothing some refinement and sanding wouldn't fix. I reccomend 220 extra fine grit sandpaper for shaping/removing bulk, then smoothing it out with 600 grid Ultra Fine waterproof sandpaper. The 600 grit gives the sculpt a very smooth surface, great for the aesthetics.
Watch the paint rub on the joints, I know if can be difficult from pieces I've done.
Also a note about the character: She looks like a human, but is mostly bee. See has a face, but actually sees out of the two large eyes on top of her head. That's why in game, she always has her head down, and often has a blank expression. Something to keep in mind for future poses.
Nice work. I just wish the Black series had given us a better sculpt for slave leia while they still could .
This is a fantastic piece friend. You gave a her a great expression, great look and appeal. I'm impressed you made her look so good even with the awful abdomen crunch this line of figures has. Great job!
How did you attach the fishnets to the top of her hips?
Hey man, nothing wrong with being comic accurate . Very nicely done, quite appealing.
Very, very nice! I'm surprised this hasn't happened in the comics, to be honest.
Pretty sweet! I've made a knightquest Batman from this as well. My only issue is the figure seems a little short. Not a big deal though.
Looks neat! How are you keeping the edge of the material from fraying?

This story was one of the few where I saw Fett become truly and and shout in rage. It made quite an impression on me.

Nice repair, and good progress on the plasma bolt. They don't look movie accurate, but the repulsor blasts from an iron man figure can be fit into the barrel, and actually looks pretty cool.

Riiggght. I recommend using a toothpick sanded down to a fine point for the pupil and eyeshine. Do some practice runs on a piece of paper until you're confident.
Isn't Hunter a little shorter than the adults?

A Marvel Legends Wonder Man would make a great base. It has a similar build, flesh toned arms/shoulders, and the head looks similar, though you could easily mod it.
You can buy it on Walmart.com for about $12 plus shipping.
Excellent work! The only minor nitpick I have is you didn't paint the half carnage head's eyebrow orange to match the unmasked head.
Where do you buy the 3D Paint?

Nice attention to detail. Glad you avoided adding boob plating to the armor, it makes it more realistic.

Why thank you Dante! I took a look at your gallery, and I must say, you have some promising stuff!

Nice work wreckless, I think the only thing off is the head. Proportionally speaking, it's just a little to small in comparison to the rest of the body.

The paint apps on the face really pop, so much so that the hair paint seems flat and dull by comparison. The texture on the beard is well done, but it contrasts with the almost noodle-like hair. Aside from that, from looking at reference pics, his front comb over looks like it sits a little too high on his head. Try working a more realistic texture to his hair, like you did with the beard.
Overall though, this is a good first pass, your face paints apps are where this pieces shines brightest.
Nice work on the new faces Matchu. I run into the same problem with the eye spots, it's hard to do it without your hands shaking. What tools are you using to apply the white glistens? I use a toothpick that has been shaved and sanded down to a fine point, or a fine needle with the point clipped off.
Gratzi, mi amigo!

Thank you Jedd, I quite agree. There's just something really fun and bubbly about the original comic style.

That is awesome dude! (I would give anything for those turtles though!). So jealous.
Before you do that, check if you can return the figure, since it arrived broken. If you bought it from an online store, you might be able to get a replacement or refund. If it was a private sale, check with the original seller.

I believe the asgardian is a character called "Wiccan". The other one looks like a Ghost Rider, but I can't tell you more than that.
This would be a fantastic resource for our needs! It would be so much easier than making individual molds and casts. Would definitely use the service, and 5-10 bucks a head is more than reasonable. Just think, you might also be able to scan in clothes, and scale as needed!

When I saw the title, I thought it was the Smallville Superman. This is still a nice design though. Nice rework.

I've been going through a similar mindset regarding in-store toys whose BAFs have been stolen/replaced with inferior parts. I recently saw three separate toys that had the BAFs replaced with broken parts of a Spiderman 3 black spiderman. I alerted the store about the issue, and next time I visited the store, they were back on the shelf at full price.

thanks for the info Henchman! Ill look into it.

Awesome work! That helmet makes him look like a My Little Pony variant!

If you're looking for stickers, a good way to go is to make them yourself on a vector program like Adobe Illustrator, then have them printed on sticker paper. Check your local printing stores like office depot, fedex, or QuikPrint to see if the do sticker paper printing.
Thanks Kirky! Don't feel bad, it's easy to miss the gems in the mountains of submissions.
If you want the design to wrap around the entire box in one piece, you're going to need to use the same dieline the box has, and cut out the spots where you'll see the figure through the plastic. The biggest problem you might have is finding a place that can print the design at a big enough size without breaking your wallet.

Yeah, I get that, it happens far too often on the realm...

That's too bad about the cancelling, I was interested in joining this year.

I agree with Nightmare, there's not much incentive to buy these blanks when store bought figures are much cheaper. Things like the blister packaging is completely unecessary and adds extra cost. These figs need to be a better AND cheaper alternative to store bought figures. High price is the reason I haven't spent $33 for Superior Spiderman legs on shapeways.
