Nice. How did you do the scales on the briefs?

Very nice. Yeah classic Kraven all the way. That new one was well done but I like my Kraven a little goofy and less proto-military.

Great paint job.
So simple and effective.

Wow. Just perfect. What are these resin circles you speak of. Might be time to quit waiting for a real Namor and surely just the trunks won't be as maddening as the whole lower torso.

Very nice. What's the skirt and sash from?

Really nice. Looking at a pic of the original I can see it now. How did you get the two pieces back together? Did you split the two chest pieces? I always have a really hard time doing that.

How did you shorten the torso?

Great custom. Simple solutions are the best. Was the MS Widow head just too big?

Great idea in front of all our noses!

Really cool. Yep this is more how he should have been done in the 1st place.

Wow. This is amazing. Hope he's following all the new Barks reprints by Fantagraphics. Great stuff

Ha! Great idea and execution.

Very nice. What do you call that vinyl? I need some myself. Did it take paint well?

Very nice. Hand or airbrush?
Yeah I wished they'd given us the Ditko character in the DCUC line. Thanks for showing how straightforward it could be to fix that. Nice work.

This is great. If only that dog statue was mass market.
The extra hip looks good. All the early Toybiz women look like waifs.

This is really great. Did you just glue down the speaker wire? Also what is label tape?

This custom is pretty extraordinary.

Yeah old school all the way. He was an interesting one because he's been drawn so many different ways. So I just went with an adaptation of his classic Kirby look.

Thanks so much. Yeah can't believe they never just offered something like this as a variant.

Thanks so much!

Yeah my 1st failed attempt involved a hobby knife on the seems as well. It was just too beaten up in the long run to be stable when reconstructed. Opening the crotch are is easy on most those but hard on that bc I was trying to "save the belt" but it holds the crotch piece in place.

Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a shot and probably destroy another Dr Midnight in the process.
Dang was gonna offer you a fee to install some Copperhead arms and legs in a Dr Midnight torso until I saw you lived in the UK!

Does anyone have advice on how to split a DCUC torso?

Really nice. What cape is that?
