His name: KOVUL PRIME

1) the head: I've always wanted to use a Pitt head on a custom, but getting it to fit was a task at hand. So I cut both Pitt and Arkillo heads in half and glued them together. I also sliced the mouth so it will be slightly opened for a more dramatic look. With a couple of slices of clear tubing and triangle cut plastic for a figure bubble packaging nearly completes it. Both will be painted-ever paint em before? A real pain in the caboose! I am going to build up the eyebrows and complete the merger of the to heads. Down side: yes the head is a bit large but I was going for that. Why the triangles? That's a really good question and I'm so glad you asked. Ears are rather hard to build and I needed something to offset the size of the head and this is what I came up with. They also help channel his Psionic abilities for one powerful mind blast! Not only is Kovul Prime a distance fighter, but a hands on bone crushing fighter too!

2) I believe the tentacles are from a Independence Day figure

3) Yes, those are claws from BAF Onlslaught hands. I loved the 3 figure look, but wasn't aggressive enough for my taste. The claws really changes the look of em!

Probelm: sure I can make one cool looking Yellow Lantern Corps member-I can switch out the lower arms and give him some unique looking yellow boots. BUT is this the custom parts beyond that? Aren't the Yellow Lantern Corps old news? Should this figure be it's own character? I have gone back and forth on the next step to take this custom and I am not looking to take the easy way out, cause either way is going to be the some work. A custom always comes to that cross roads, to be a custom or a AWESOME custom. I think this has the potential of being at least a really good one. I really hope to get several ideas where to go with this custom.

I can see a lot of lookers, but no feedback. Give me a thumbs up or down...or scrape that piece of crap! Even say, hey, that looks like ????? you can take this figure that direction! SOMETHING please! Vote: keep a yellow lantern or too cool looking -make him your own character.

I know some customizers here don't want to interfere by adding their input, but isn't that one of the reason we've come together here? To share words of wisdom?

Much appreciated

Glad you like em! THANKS! The only way to fix him is to remove those parts and start over. The figure is a descent figure not to replace em. ENAMEL PAINT...BAD! DON'T EVER, NEVER USE IT!

First guy is going to be one of my Villains. I have to make Shapp happy!

My bad! Knee to yellow covering are from a Halo figure. I also added a finger from Nite Lik hand to the rear (heel) of the foot. If my customs only show one thing, is the possibilities a part can be used for, then I achieved something! To take a foot and change the original appearance enough, that you have to double take. Wooohooo, that is a huge compliment my friend! Maybe the triangles wasn't a home run, but taking a none fodder part and trying to come up with different ideas, maybe...just maybe someone here will take my idea and better it. Be be assured, those are Blackheart's feet and part of his leg too. Oh EDarthT...Thank you for noticing! You made my day! If I come off bragging, then my reply failed to express my emotions.

I get so mind blown by the WIPs here, I sit and look and say, this guys took ribbon and made a holster belt from it? FREAKING RIBBON! And the things that come of taking body parts and working them into different figures, is genius work! Not to mention taking sculpty clay and turning it into a work of art! PAINTING ! ? ! Don't even get me start on the master artists here! I taught art, and I find myself being the student! Some day, I hope to be in the same league as many of you!

Those legs really look totally different to Blackheart's and I've had three of them

I would really love the first guy to be something original, I wouldn't make him a lantern, also I wouldn't do the tenticles mechanical, I think he would look cooler with them being organic

the second guy would be great as a lantern though. if you can get the paint off, get him fixed up and finished as he is freaking rad!

love both of these guys =D

I have Man-bat ears, but I thought the Triangles would be...different. Maybe if they were painted, they would look better? Lower legs are from ML Blackheart. The claws are from DC Red Lantern Nite lik. AS always, thanks for the feedback! I always say two heads are better than one and here I get a bunch of awesome minds with their thoughts!

Really dig these two!!
The guy at the top looks beastly, I'm not overly sold on the triangle head pieces though and kinda feel you should go the extra mile and either graft some ears on or sculpt some......... I'm seeing pointy goblin ears. As far as to lantern or not to lantern, I've never really followed that universe so I'd go the original creation on that.

Is the second dude the one you want to get the paint off? Looks cool, where did the lower legs come from?

This was an older custom that I thought I lost. I wanted to finish this and post it, but Tamiya Acrylic paint turned out to be enamel instead! But I thought it was worth a look anyway. So disappointed!
