Stark Armor Spidey from Legendary Heroes Star

Posted in Custom Workstation

So that's the plan, turn the new Star fig into the Stark armor spidey. I've already shaped down the boots and gloves to get those bracers off and took the belt off and cut the pouches off. I glued the waist filler back in there so it still turns and looks mostly unbroken. The belt is gonna be my rouge belt instead of the one Ann O'Brien came with. Anyway, paint tips? I suppose I'm going to sculpt the yellow spider and his wrist and ankle bracers out of sculpey and boil it, and after that? I want to try the silver with colored varnish trick, anybody have any advice that can help?

Thanks, guys!

I'll note, Moon Knight and Captain Marvel have different-legthed pegs in the lower-legs so watch-out for that.

yeppers. Star, Marvel, Bullseye, Moonknight, Quicksilver, Yellowjacket - they're all the same body - there might be slight variations in size between the later TB/MT and Hasbro and the earlier TB ones but it's the same body design.

thanx for the backup DE - haven't been on much since the 25th cuz I've been sick as a dog.

The exact same body? I mean except for the shin/wrist braces?

the Star head is perfect for that but I would suggest using a base body that is already red at the paint rub high risk areas. Captain Marvel is the same body as Star so it would work great.
