Just to clarify, the dimensions of the pictures don't cause the problem. They will automatically be resized to 600. It's the size of the files that are the issue. There are a lot of restrictions on the internet about file sizes so networks and servers don't get bogged down. The real secret is to keep the total of all the pictures under 8 megs. That's the standard default, but hosts can always configure that however they want. You just have to test it out and see what works for you.

Okay, the problem was that the pictures were too big, I resized them and am sending back to you so you can submit the custom with those pics.

I see it in the inbox but it still says "Picture Not Found!"

I have a better idea, give me the picture and I'll add it manually, lol.

DON'T put the IMG tags when submitting pictures, that's probably why we can't see your images, Tom. Use the DIRECT LINK. I just approved Alex's, it worked finally x_X

Realm Credits are like store credit for the Figure Shop. (50 RC = 50 Cents; 100 RC= $1.00) You can't cash them in, you can only use them to help pay for stuff you buy from the Figure Shop (but yes you can use them to pay shipping as well!). You earn them by writing reviews, making comics, tutorials, writing gallery descriptions, contributing significantly to the site.

Yes, I know what you mean. When that page reloads, it should have the green box at the top letting you know it was submitted successfully. Since it doesn't, I'm guessing it had a problem with the images. Unfortunately the image converter doesn't let me capture any errors it encounters with the pictures so I can let the user know what happened. Go ahead and email them to me so I can take a look at them.

well, when I click the "submit" button, it takes a while but after it's done nothing happens. It just basically reloads the submit custom page but everything is blank, do you see what I mean? Like I will fill out everything and put in my pictures, hit submit, wait about a minute or so and then the same page comes up but everything I just filled out is now blank....sorry if I just repeated myself by the way. but yeah, no green box or anything after I hit submit.

Hey guys... Everything with the Custom Showcase seems to be running normally. In fact, I just saw a submission come in as I started typing this. I assume you are not getting any error messages? After you hit the submit button, do you get the green message box saying "Your custom was submitted successfully?"

The only time I have seen that not work correctly is if the file size is over 2 megs or the images are a strange format besides the standard jpgs. If you have no clue what any of that means, email the pictures to me (mailto:captaincoder@figurerealm.com) that you are trying to submit and I'll take a look.

That's weird, the site isn't registering that there's a custom that needs to be looked at...you guys are using this link right? http://www.figurerealm.com/submitcustomfigure

Uh...yeah this is weird, it's a problem with the site then, what browser/operating system are you using?

I didn't get an email or anything saying mine were denied, and my pictures were pretty good, better than some of the ones approved, so I was wondering if maybe mine just hasn't been looked at yet. It's a custom of Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid.

Ooops, thought I responded already x_X

I just approved like 12 customs, there were some that had tiny pictures so I was going to reject it but the WIP shots barely kept them from going in the trash can

There are several different people who manage the stuff that goes on the site, and everyone's idea of what is and isn't acceptable varies so don't be discouraged if your stuff doesn't get added the first time. Just fix whatever it was you were told to fix with the submission and re-submit it.

When we reject a custom, we have the option of emailing you guys to let you know what needs to be changed/added. If you don't get an email like this then either it's some obvious problem, like super-blurry or tiny pictures, or the moderator forgot to send it to you.

Post the pictures/text in here and I'll tell you guys why they got rejected.

Lol same here Tom-Tom. I've been checking this site out for a while but I just recently decided to sign up and start customizing. I just entered my first custom last night and I'm really anxious to see what people think. I wish it would be put up already! haha.
