how can i remove the yellow paint from a DCUC red tornado?

Posted in Custom Workstation

im trying to remove the yellow stripes on red tornado and keep the red intact. is there any way I can do this besides sanding it off?

and im not going to just paint the red over it because it would be a pain to get the paint to match and it would take a million coats.

Just be careful if you have the regular Goof Off - it will melt plastic if you over do it. Keep a damp paper towel handy to wipe it off when you're done and do small areas.

Goof Off applied with a Q-Tip worked for me but I'd suggest looking for Goof Off-2 which is made to work with plastics.

Are you the same atgscl that posts on Fwoosh?

Only thing I can think of is using a super fine grit sand paper and a steady hand. Thats probably the best way. Maybe something 300+ grit..
