What base figure for a 1/6 scale Jubilee?

Posted in Custom Workstation

I want to make a 1/6 scale Jubilee, but I'm not sure as to what base figure I should use. To be in good 1/6 scale she should not be 12 inches. Probably more like 10, maybe 10.5. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hm....I would have suggested obitsu, shorter than barbie and a lot more articulated too. Plus its a good blank slate to start with...

I have finally found the perfect base body for this custom! The 10" DC BAF Giganta.

famous covers are 8'' right? I think that may be a bit too short. and isnt their articulation very strange looking?

Cool, cool, cool. Now I need to decide between the Jane or a Famous Covers figure (a good bit cheaper and not clear, but possibly too short).

well, there is one on ebay now but im not allowed to link to there. Just search for GI Jane 12 and you will see it. its the clear one.

I think you could use a F4 movie roto Sue - but you'd need to take about an inch off in height. It would have the articulation you want but would be a lot of work. I reckon she'll look great no matter what base you choose though. Can't wait to see her!

I can't seem to find one of those Janes, but what I have found are "Famous Covers" figures. Does anyone think that a famous covers female body would be too small?

there was a clear GI jane from a few years back that was in 12' scale but was actually about 10' . That may work except the hips look kinda funny because they were meant to have clothes over them. but nothing a lil apoxie can't fix

yeah I considered barbie's sister (she's shorter) but the articulation and shape of those things are horrible.

*cringes* There's got to be a better base than that...

I have no suggestions for a base figure, but I look forward to seeing the finished figure, since Jubes is my all time favorite character. Best of luck!
