really need some help

Posted in Custom Workstation

I've posted this on here before but never really got the answer I was looking for and its really starting to become a problem as its stopping me from completing my custom.

I'm trying to make a belt but the problem is im using a piece of black leather but it does actually need to be brown unless someone can suggest something better to use. also the belt needs a pattern on it but it needs to stand out and painting it won't work and I know someone did mention leather working but I don't have the skill or the tools so thats not really an option either but I was thinking that maybe there's something I could cut to shape and stick on but I'm not sure what, so any suggstions would help.

it actually needs to be a removable belt.
your not making this verry easy lol
are you good with an x-acto knife? you could cut a stencile with a pattern on it out, paint it, and glue it...

even I didn't think it would be this difficult, now I just need to find something that I can cut and stick on.

any suggestions?

thats actually not a bad idea, I might have to look into it.

What about a cheap leather watch band? I think you can get a replacement band just about anywhere that sells watches and it would come with a buckle built right in. The only obstacle would be figuring out out how to connect the two pieces to make it into a belt.

edit: err well that would solve the color problem but not the pattern unless you could find a band that already has the design you want. For the pattern, I got nothing.
