Looking For Advice - Custom Stop Motion

Posted in Custom Workstation

Hello to all Transformers and Go Bots Fans. Me and my friends are working on an original Transformers Stop-Motion series. We already know how to do the stop motion, but I'm looking for other advice. We've got the location/studio, but no good story. Well, we HAVE a story, but we have one guy who wants to do a story from the G-1 series, another who wants to do one from the movie, and it's hard to come up with something original for a really good story arch. We're all in agreement we want to keep true to G-1 series, but we're using the Altenator line and the Human Alliance line, and random figures that will fit in with what we're trying to create.

Zipdisk(on youtube) gave me an idea when he explained the origins for Kiss Players in "Defending the Indefensible", to run with the Earth Defense force and the best way I can explain it, was "Another routine Autobot/Decepticon battle has disastrous consequences for Spike. Quick and drastic action is, naturally, taken by the Autobots and Sparkplug on his behalf. The required, physical operation is quite normal (though difficult), but what is done with his mind isn't. It turns out that Autobot X a body cobbled together earlier by Sparkplug is used to keep Spike's mind safe in the interim. Unfortunately, Autobot Spike has obvious problems and Megatron gladly takes advantage of that. Now, the Autobots will have to face their old friend in battle."

So, the humans are tired of the Autobots and Decepticons fighting on their planet when they meet a Cybertron refugee that agrees to help them level the playing field, he helps them create their own robots and five humans are selected to be part of the elite force. They'll help the Autobots on certain missions, but keep them at arms' length. But in turn, run secret missions, but that was the idea I brought up to my friends, and they liked the idea, but one friend said the way I explained it makes it look like a three-way-faction. But, I guess if I do it right, it doesn't have to be like that.

But for now, that's all I can come up with, but if any ideas come up, or anyone has any ideas to throw at me, please let me know.

And, oh, by the way, I'm also working on a custom figure! It's a cheap Transformer knock-off that goes by the name Battle Robots. I can't really explain the details, it's better to show it than to explain it, for those who are interested, so when I get done with the customizations, I'll show it off.

P.S. Where do I go to show off my customs on Figure Realm, because I went to 'Contest' to look around, but I'm not sure where to go to show off my custom Transformer.
