Found these today, they have them beside the GI Joes. While I'm not a Thunder Cats fan, I'm half tempted to get Lion-O.

If that's the case, I should consider myself lucky. I went to TRU today and they had them in stock. Didn't have the classic Lion-O, but they had a few 5" figs, and I got the 4" Lion-O, Panthro, Cheetarah and Tygra. Really sweet figures. Great posability and everything, really happy with it.

They should be out next week. Walmart is doing their August reset this weekend and have been waiting for the reset to put out new product. I saw thundercats on the plan-o-gram sheets, so start looking for them Monday or Tuesday since the reset should be complete by the 15th.

It says on toynewsi that they are already in stores but I haven't seen any of them yet.

Anyone know when the toy line should hit shelves ?

No idea, If it's anything like the original then they'll probably do an episodic film before the series starts. Thundercats exodus was how the original series started.

Is it starting out as a movie and then the cartoon network series or are they just going to show the movie on cartoon network?

I agree.
I was looking forward to an update cause I really liked the 200X He-man show and figures. This new line of TC stuff is leaving me cold. I might grab the sword when it comes out, but I think I'll pass on the figures.

I'm more interested in the classic figures.

I didn't post the tank cuz it looks like a CG model to me instead of an actual figure.

There are clearer pics here, still want the classics but the new ones really do make me very sad.

Yes it is but the original had "battlematic" action!!!!!

That's more articulation than the original had
bobtheodd -

Lack of articulation aside, it is a cool looking figure. I might have to get him....once I see how much I get back on my taxes this year.

Think Top Notch posted this a while ago but here's Mezco's 20" Classic Lion-O with a whopping 7 POA

http://www.mezcotoyz.com/store/detail.aspx?ID=918

Also, quite digging the new thundertank although there are pictures of it that show a horrid blue paint job (maybe jus prototype). and the fact that Snarf is reported to be mute

We know.....but no matter how much you might want it, Cheetara will not be nude. Perv.
After I'm done customizing her she will be!

All those will be coming out Finn. These are just the earliest images. Also Mezco will be releasing a 14 inch Lion-o for around 100$

Are those prototypes or finished products? I only asked because I noticed they are missing the Thundercats insignia.

Heard they are releasing 4, 6 and 8 inch figures. Wonder whats up with that.
