Thanks so much for becoming a fan of mine. I'm new to here so I don't know much about the site... can you comment on other people's profiles, or just reviews and customs?
Awesome! Yeah, you're very right, it's not fair to judge the figure itself on something that is stiff on one copy. That happens with some of mine but it's really just that I got one with stiff joints or whatever. Anyway, this figure always looked awesome to me and now I know it is because of this great and detailed review!
That's terrible! Sorry about your bad luck. I won't be getting this one then. But it isn't your fault, trust me. I have too opened many packages in my day, and not a single figure has ever been broken during that.
this figure was dissapointed, the marvel select and the other from the movie were made on the concept desing, that can be see on shoulder and necks, but this doesn`t look like chris evans. being honestly I think our custom its better, exept the accesories. like the gun or the shield details. if you didn't saw it, please do it and comment your opinion its always appreciated
hi, glad to read to you. yeah finally they made a 6" movie thor. ( thats was the reason why we made a thor movie custom, but I was really dissapointed about the helmet specially the paint. did you saw our lasts works? thanks for a great review
Did you make obi's fallen robe? If so great job it's brilliant IF not still great custom you should make a clone trooper in carbonite that would be awesome. I'm up loading some customs soon like a clone trooper in carbonite, a clone assasin from star wars episode 3 the video game, Ect. I hope you have the time to check them out that would be neat. anyway great job
thanks man! I know you're a Cap guy so you'll do him justice! To tell you the truth I want to do that, but I'm also thinking of using different shoulders and biceps and making strapped on, but free floating shoulder pads like I made for my Marvel Select movie cap. thanks for the comment G!
"Ralphy's little brother in his snowsuit" I love it. I'll probably be popping this one to pieces and sanding him down to take care of that. Repaint and head swap or multiple heads and this will be golden. Awesome review, more stars than the figure!!!
I was going to talk about the cape but I was worried, I might be going on too much. Don't you think the cape is part of the problem too, like it's just too long? I think that's why it works as an anchor so well, but it doesn't help if you try to drape it right at the back of his feet. Like you're mentioning stevid, I think it only works if you drag it back and use it to hold the weight of the figure. Good idea on the feet placement. That seems to be the only possible way to get it to stand for any time at all. Mine just won't even really stand unless he's pegged down on a stand. I've had some issues like yours where he's jumped and taken everyone around with him, only instead of a group of Thors, he took down my marvel movie avengers both actual released figures and custom! Argh!
You are right about the figure and that it doesn't stand well at all! First time I put him on my shelf with the rest of my Thor figures thinking I had him standing nice and strait and next thing you know he falls and knocks all the rest of the figures with him! What I notice you have to do is position his feet slightly down and have him leaning back a little and using the cape as a stand. But I have to say I do love the sculpt of the figure! Great review!
Dr.Nightmare , I have found a much better Mary Jane if you are still looking . She comes in the collection of super hero couples . It comes with spiderman and mary jane = ) She looks like the one from the series , but has the comic book style face . Picked mine up online for about 13 $ hope that helps = )
Great figure. I love him. He''s got an Auto-9 pistol and two sets of interchangable armor. One set is normal, while the other set''s scarred and cracked. His face matches that of Richard Eden who Portrayed Robocop in the Robocop live action series. his Armor is a blueish grey, which I like. And also cool
I agree!!! you what would have been nice???...a GIANT sized power construct....also, where''s the DOOMSDAY collect & concect??? if mattel was smart Doomsday could be a B.A.F for a SUPERMAN/BATMAN:APOCALPSE line....just a thought???
I remember him having a car of sorts at times but somehow think this wasn''t it. This was just a cash-in piece that actually was really cool. I should''ve had this and the Mask''s Maskmobile drag race back then
Thanks man. I dunno this entire line seems like something is wrong with it. Usually Mattel does fantastic jobs with anything they put their hands to. Their early Simpsons line was FANTASTIC. Wish the same quality was in these Ren & Stimpy figures. Ah well I still prefer them over the Palasades line.
It did somewhat frustrate me that his head has no articulation due to the wiring, and that his shoulder pads interfere with his arm movement if his cape is on But overall one of my favorites from the classic Toybiz line as well.
