The Silver Surfer is perfect for many custom projects. In my opinion one of the best is Ice Man. I mean he already comes with a board to be converted into his ice path. Very little apoxie squares off the head and chest. The ice path has a wood base, all hot glued together. The board is screwed down.The blast from his hand is a wood dowel and all the scicles are hot glue (also one of the best uses for hot glue that I've seen). I'll update these pics soon.

To: HMcCoy - Thank you muches. But dude you rock awesomeness. You stopped me in my tracks with your Gambit, your Quicksilver is the bomb, and our Hawkeyes are practically identical. I do use a matte finish for some figures like Thing for example, but like for Ice Man, he definitely needs to be shiney to help with the ice effect.

Sweet work PSD...I love the application of the blue. looks very "icey" The board and ice-blast are both fantastic. Great stuff, man. You are definitly the Icon king. We have a lot of similar ideas, but some of your stuff like the Lizard, the your awesome Rhino, and your MAGNIFICENT Thanos makes me smack myself on the forhead like "dang, why didn't I think of that?" lol. If you ever wanted a non shiny finish on future projects, may I reccomend Testors "Dullcote". Most hobby shops carry it, 3.99 for a small can.
