This one started out as a sketch, a rough, messed up doodle, having the basic properties of Mr. J. But the end result was something that combined an animated look with a realistic feel. The design took influences from Beethoven's hair to Willy Wonka's eccentricity. Definitely wanted to portray a sense of insanity but at the same time keep his clownish charms. For his coat tails, had a look at some clothing designs by French designer Gaultier, as he's got some mad-cap stuff himself!
Used the head from a LOTR Bilbo Baggins on this one, widened the mouth and resculpted the hair. Cut pieces of vinyl to complete his coat tails, repainted. This is Joker all dolled up, out on the town, sportin' the latest fashion from MoidaR'Us and plenty of psycho to go around.
