I found that working with gold paint is difficult to get any depth with. I used a gloss seal on his black areas to bring them out and contrast with the red, but that makes them a nightmare to photograph.
Since taking these photos I have added some black lightning bolts to his boots and gold lining to his gloves and boots.
I sculpted his mouth and brow into a more serious pose and dremelled off his hair, replacing it with a freshly sculpted less quoifed doo.
