This is my 2nd attempt at a "Ghostbusters" figure. I used the same base figure, but slightly changed the flight suit color to look a bit more grey. Of course, in the photos it's hard to tell. I also changed the hair color. The pack is slightly different from the first one I made. I also added equipment to the belt as well as the ecto goggles and elbow pads. The stuff around him in the photo was also made just for fun (slime blower made from Sculpey clay as well as the Containment unit).

Believe it or not, about 95% of the pack was made from Sculpey clay. It took about 20-25 trips to the oven, so it required A LOT of patience. I started with the base shape (cornered at the top, rounded at the bottom) and just gradually added the details which I got from numerous online reference photos, so the pack is quite movie-accurate. After each small sculpt of the pack, it was baked as not to damage what had already been done while working on a new detail. The minor exceptions on the pack were the wires which were simply made from colored paper clips, the hose that connects the pack to the neutrona wand (this was some pretty cool, seemingly latex-made tubing bought from Walmart which is used to make bead necklaces), the ALICE frame (made from a wire hangar and olive drab fabric for the straps and belt), and the handles on the neutrona wand were cut-to-length wooden skewers. Actually, most of the equipment in the photos (the containment unit, the slime-blower, and the goggles) was made using Sculpey. Such cool stuff! I always wondered what happened to the line of GHOSTBUSTERS figures from a few years back that seemed to end with its first series (Gozer, Slimer, and the Terror Dogs), so I always wanted to see an actual Ghostbuster figure from the film. That's why I spent a lot of time trying to get this one right. I really appreciate the comments! It was a lot of fun to do.

Looks great! That pack looks awesome!!! What are the details on how you made it? I'm just curious.
