First of all, thanks to benstoys702. This idea came from a custom he submitted on this site.
i decided to submit my own take on this figure.
it's basically the same formula he used, however i did the paint job a bit differently. I did a base coat of flesh tone on his face to begin with. After that, i painted red around his mouth, keeping the scar areas lightly brushed. I then painted his face white, leaving a few areas near the forehead in flesh tone like the white make-up had been wiped away. I painted dark black around his eyes, creating lines down his cheeks to simulate the running make-up. I then painted the hair black, dry brushed over with a tan/blonde highlight, and finally streaked it with a light green. This helped give it a bit more of a "stringy" look. A few smudges on the face and the head is done!
i did a repaint on his vest as well, since the shirt had to be repainted anyway. Of course, using benstoys702's formula, i cut off just above the hands of the movie masters joker figure and attached the hands of the iron man movie prototype figure with a dowel joint. I also used the Dremel to round off his shoulders a bit so they weren't protruding so bad. I painted the sleeves a bit of a dark lavender and added the comb design with a fine tip purple sharpie. I painted the vest front black and dry brushed over it with green. The back of the vest was painted a slightly lighter lavender than the shirt.
there it is. A version of the dark knight's joker. . . As he was sitting in gordon's cage.
