Had a good look at the new SF Zangief and wanted him so badly...except that he's quite expensive online. Had an extra Balrog and saw that he has the mass of Zangief specially the legs. So I had a go at it... used an old X-men vs. Street Fighter Zangief's hands which is perfect size for the figure, also took his chest hair. Tried putting the same Zangief's head but it was so small so I decided to used Balrog's head... dremmeled his hair line and plug his missing tooth (I felt like a dentist that day...LOL). Scupted the beard and mustache as well as the flat top and eyebrow. Next step was to dremmel down his pants then his shirt off, then scupted the scars across his arms and legs. I used the old Zangief for referrence with regards to them scars. Final part was to paint him with regards to his color scheme. Hope you guys like it...could not believe I was able to finish this in one day. So comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks guys, and remember comments are always welcome. I will try to dremmel the scar a bit flatter, just hope I can make it a little less wider. I can't remember the name but the sculpy I use hardens in like 3-5min... so I have so little time to work on it, I should have used the clay I have been using lately. But then again it is not a perfect recipe yet so I will sure keep trying. Again thanks for the comments guys.

That's mighty impressive! I never considered Balrog as a Zangief base, so kudos to you for managing to pull this off! The chest hair just makes everthing click. The scars are a bit weird for me though. I would have used a dremel to make them smaller, flatter and a bit more zigzag...but thats me and I dun own an actual Zangief figure for reference yet

Man, Niallskie, this looks great!!! I can tell that this took a lot of work and it paid off. I think that the scars are a little too wide, but other wise, he is bang on. Very cool custom, and very well executed!
