The entire figure was made using simply the original 1988 Shredder action figure from Playmates. I did not add any height to the figure, I simply un-crouched him, as he was previously crouched down pretty low, but I made his legs stretch out completely straight. Cut into the bent legs to stretch them out into a straight position and glue them in place with some plastic supporting it on the back, and going over it with Milliput standard yellow-gray, and took the same approach on the right arm, left arm was left un-altered. Moved the leg armor up to the forearms and tweaked the armor a bit. The shoulder pads are the same ones but using 2 on each side glued together and with some more tweaks. New leg armor is from Super Shredder, with the appropriate spikes cut out. Forearm straps and leg straps made from Milliput. The helmet/mouthpiece was carved down and re-done with Milliput sculpt. After all that, a complete new paint job was given to the figure. Then cut out a nice gray shirt for him, gave him back his original cape and belt (cape tip rounded off and belt backwards to hide buckle), and PRESTO! He was a completed "cartoon" Shredder and retains all of his original articulation. Only thing I'd like to improve at some point is the positioning of his arms.
