This is my first custom figure, I simply repainted a Marvel Legends Psylocke figure. The visor was made from a piece of yellow cellophane. I'm not that happy with the paint job - I didn't thin the paint down so the brush marks are visible and has started to chip off at the joints - so I may redo this figure.

Yeah, thinning down your paint isn't going to do much really, unless you're using some strong paint like Tamiya or Testors. Most of the time you're going to have to crack the body apart and sand away some of the plastic around the joint so there's nothing for the joint to rub against.
The paint-job looks fine, where are the brush-marks?
