| Kim Kaphwan Custom Action Figure | Hi everyone, Renmauzo here with custom no. 21, for my CvsSNK2 set, SNK's Kim Kaphwan! I had a lot of fun doing this one despite the painstaking paintjob because of my Taekwon-do background. This one was pretty easy over all. I trimmed the length of his gi to match the length of the characters', added about half an inch to the bottom of each pant leg, swapped out the head for one from a MS Captain America, and changed the hands for ones from a CvsSNK2 Ryu. After turning the sandals into feet and adding footpads, I filled in the open area of the gi to make it closed. Like I said, a painstaking paintjob later, and there you have it, Kim Kaphwan. | User Comments | I tried doing a Kim once with a Sota Ryu figure but gave up as i couldn't fill in the gap in the middle Gi and make it look natural. From your second pic i see you have the same problem. Not sure about the head choice too. Looks too uncle to be Kim. But overall the figure looks good and a great improvision from the original base figure  Man you're churning out these figures at a furious rate! |
