I customized this figure in keeping with The Incredible Hulk #454. In that issue the Hulk ventures to the Savage Land to escape the US military. Quite a simple one - used Apoxie Sculpt to sculpt the tribal accessories and what with the HOM Hulk being bald I also sculpted the hair. Then painted with Citadel paints. Was tempted to make the war-paint more extensive as I enjoyed painting what little of it there is but in the end decided to be true to the source comic. This custom does make me seem like a huge Hulk fanboy but this issue is actually only one of a few Hulk comics that I own and I bought it following Adam Kubert's pencilling - 454 was his first issue. Dug it out as what with all the recent movie and ML Hulk figures I remembered this issue and thought it would be cool to do an obscure, variant look for the Hulk.
This got me in a whole Savage Land mood - working on a couple of Savage land X-folks that I will hopefully finish and submit in the next couple of days.
