Just got this NECA Street Fighter Ryu and Ken from the store, took of their top gi like the once on the box figures. They do look good as the sculpting was awesome, then I saw Ken's smirk and it reminded me of how Kazuya smiled when he tossed Heihachi to the Jack 5's... anyone who likes Tekken knows what I am talking about. Then I looked at the body and said heck this is a great match for a Kazuya custom. At first I was hesitant as this was a new figure but I saw the plus factor in doing this so I went on with it. I first took off Ken's hair and straight up sculpted the hair. Next was I dremmeled the scar on his face then had a hard look on both PS2 and PSP on where are his scars located then painted it on his body. The hardest part of this custom is actually the flame design on his pants, used my PSP to draft it on paper then onto his pants. Used gold paint and violet. Stripped off the belt from Ken's gi and used the rubber thingy for the belt that goes around his waist. DONE!!! I like him coz I didn't painted his body with other skin color so he ratains his full articulation withouth chipping anything. So hope you guys love him as much as I love him beating Devil Jin into a pulp. Comments and rants are very well welcome...thanks guys.

love this custom!as a tekken fan I love how spot on this is! I have a question though because I'm trying to use the same body base(sf 4 ken)but I can't stand how the knees look when they are bent. how should I give proper kneecaps to them(lol)?

Ey no problem... if you are using the same base, just take of Ken's hair then mix some putty. first make some small pieces for the side burns and stick it there. Then you but the bigger piece of putty covering the sideburns up to the top of the ears. Use water to smoothen them together (the side burns and the top hair your putting on. You can just flatten the hair on the forehead then use exacto knife to cut it into the V shape then you can use the exacto knife to make the edges of the hair (maybe after a couple of min. till it hardens a bit. Ofcourse you have to do the pointy hair which Kazuya and Jin are famous for. Just about the time you put it do the hair grooves from the forehead to the end of the pointy hair. Let it harden a bit (not too hard ok) then use the exacto knife to make deeper grooves specially at the pointy hair part. Don't worry coz there are some putty that will come off, don't be afraid to cross the grooves as it makes better impression of the hair. Same goes for the pointy hair at the back... cut them deep with the knife to make better hair impression. This is not an exact science, this is how I did it... hope it works well for you my good man. Hey... thanks for the comment guys. Renmauzo... big fan of your work and your dedication to the video game customs. Still got some stuff brewing but we'll see how they will turn out. I just love the scupt with the NECA Street Fighter figures, just hated how Ryu looked like. Go get your hands dirty Bakit?!, gawa lang ng gawa and lets see how it goes.
