Started with a LCBH Conan figure. the padding/armor pieces on his chest and arms were made with faux leather. The disk on his chest is a painted thumbtack. His gloves are made with shrink tubing.

The base is a rolled up plastic shell from a ML. It was heated and shaped. Then covered with a TON of hot glue. He stands with the base, 10 inches

just used a candle. you have to be careful, but it works. I am told by L.Roy that you can also use near boiling water, but he has only done that with smaller pieces.
