Made in collaboration with Dr. Nightmare:
Using a Spider-Man Classics Black Costume Spider-Man, I sanded down rough edges and articulation points to get it ready for painting. I did a base coat of special dark purplish-blue I concocted. Then I did a coat of a dark red, but I used cheap brushes and Doc volunteered to fix up the red coat of paint, and fix up the eyes.
He sculpted PERFECT eyes, made little ankle pouches for the feet, and gave me a set of black widow bracelets for webshooters.
When I got it back... months later :p
I proceeded to paint the bracelets silver with a silver sharpie, and then hand sewed a hoodie sweatshirt out of the sleeves of an old t-shirt. I'll be updating this custom late once I come up with a good way to get a Spider-Logo on the chest.
Big props to Dr. Nightmare for the assist!
