Ladies and gentlemen, I give you my one-hundredth custom action figure! I thought long and hard about which figure would be my hundredth, and I finally settled on this. I think it's rather fitting that the Dark Knight himself is my big one-hundredth.
I made him out of the DCUC 1 Batman, with a belt from the old Zipline Bats. From there, it was only a simple repaint. Well, mostly.
The symbol was made from the old grey bat-symbol (made by my very good friend Matt (Iron-Cow) Cauley) that I had used on my stealth Bats. My little sister figured out how to re-color it on Gimp, and my mom cut it out for me. Talk about skill! It was attached with matte decoupage.
For a finishing touch, I gave him the batarang from the DCD Long Halloween Batman, given to me by my friend Ethan.
I think this figure turned out really nice, and I couldn't imagine a more awesome character to be my hundredth. After reading the description above, it really shocks me to see how many people it can take to create something great. But, as you all know, end result can be quite amazing! Speaking of which, my dad takes most of my pics (including these) so if you've enjoyed them, be sure to let him know!
Thank you all for sticking with me this far. I hope that we'll all stay friends 'til my thousandth, and long after that. Until then, please enjoy this custom, and, as always, let me know what you think!
