Starscream (G1 TFA) Custom Action Figure

Absolutely beautiful; I can't see any flaws at all--it'd even bring an oily tear to Megatron's optics.

LMAO! Theres really no secret to it. Lets see if this helps at all.
It all depends on the job in question. Screamer here was lots of larger panels so I primed him with grey primer after diasasembly. Any parts that didn't get covered wear then hand brushed with Fortress Grey, after the priming I used Enchanted blue, Blood red, Bad Moon yellow, and various other hades to give hi the classic G1 scheme.
The key it to not paint to much. keep your paint semi waterish and flow over the piece not try "brushing" it. Do this about 3 times and you get the effect I got here.
Some figures I do not pull apart as 2 many small parts turn into a huge mess and its just as easy to hand brush the entire piece.

darn Shins! Sephiroth is right, this is what they should have done in the first place; stellar as always! How do you get the paint so clean? Do you disassemble the entire figure to get into all the nooks, or do you paint the figure as is?

Very nice. This is what they should have done. my starscream is in jet mode as that's how I like him best but I might have to repaint him after seeing this.
