Once more...I return
Once again I'd like to thank everybody who left comments about my previous work
Here's custom #4 the Iron Patriot from Dark Avenger A pretty simple repaint of a movie Iron Man That figure is the perfect base for this because of its streamlined look Plus the shoulders and forearms look just right for the Patriot The mark III version of the armor would have worked as well but I thought it would be easier to paint over a grey figure than over a gold and silver one
It was my first time trying to paint straight lines without sculpted-in details to "guide" me I think it came out all right
The star was made from tape because
a) it wouldn't be one of mine if tape wasn't involved at some point
b) I wanted it to stand out a little like it's a separate piece
I did it smaller than in the comics on purpose because I wanted it to fit roughly inside the little circle on the figure's chest
