I know exactly what you're thinking; "Just what the realm needs, another stupid Deadpool figure." I couldn't agree more, but I've never done a 616 Deadpool before and I wanted to hop on the trend train before it left the station lol. The recipe is straightforward; don't know who started the trend - although I'm lead to beleive it was K.R. I used the boots from the Movie Masters Dark Knight as my own interpratation of his "comic awareness". The only sculpting was the little symbols on his hands and belt, and his sword holders. I tried to hollow out his left eye to make it look opened wider - thus giving him a slightly confused and / or intrigued look. The swords and sai's are from the Ronin / Elektra 2-pack, the holster is from the ML6 Punisher, the pouches on his other leg started out from an ML Bullseye, but I botched that so got them from my fodder bin. The 2 tanto's are from a 2000AD figure, the pistol is from the WW2 cap America, and the G-36 is from a Terminator figure with the buttstock coming from the ML4 Punisher. Now I can finlly say I made one.
Update: Sculpted a tac harness on him, added a gun holster and some ammo mags to it, added some pouches to his leg strap and touched up the paint a little bit.
