I've been toying with the idea of making a taller and bigger looking Cable. The way Cable SHOULD BE. The original creators made him a 6'8'' and 380 lbs behemoth. In my opinion, Toybiz made him a muscular shorty grandpa....as tall as Hasbro Marvel Girl. It's not scaled when standing side by side with the rest of the X Men figures. So I made a younger, taller and bigger Cable. Like I said.....the way Cable should be. It's 1 and 1/2 inch taller than the usual Toybiz Cable version.
Used a wrestler as base figure. I sculpted the shoulder pads, chest strap, belt and pouches, gloves, bionic left arm, knee pads, shin guards and boots. I painted the main huge weapon with gun metal silver. Dry brushed and finished the rest of the figure with Tamiya Paints. Nathan Summers now stands tall and rock solid together with the rest of my X Men. Enjoy guys. Peace!

I'm also a fan of using articulated wrestling figures as base-figs. I did the same thing with an Arnold S. Terminator figure - used bits from an in-scale McFarlane figure.
thats the cable I want...great job on the accessories!
