Realm Chick Custom Action Figure

Woman, Thunder-Goddess, Empress of the Figure Realm, lover of all things blue, Realm Chick has no peers. Hyper-agility, electrical manipulation, flight, and the uncanny ability to never lose her keys, these are but few of the many fantastic abilities she posseses. Though her origin is a mystery (even to herself!), glimpses of her past often manifest in dreams, and even more so in nightmares. Her beloved Captain Coder knows more than he tells her, and she suspects as much, but she waits ever-patiently for a truthful explanation that may never come. She passes the time by building robots and giving them life all of their own.

Cap is a bad, bad man.

RC was a pretty simple custom, delayed almost indefinitely by constant distractions. The voices in my head went away so I'm all better now.

-Base figure is a modified UL Electra with a Psylocke head. Hair was painted black and bry-brushed with silver-twilight, it shimmers in the sunlight. Right hand is from a ML Storm for a "casting" or "throwing" effect. The "boot-flare" was made with some plastic leaves split in half. They were glued on and sculpted over to make a smooth transition to the boot, it worked well. The flare on the gloves were a complete pain in the arse. I couldn't use the leaves because they were too thick, I couldn't use foam for the same reason, I couldn't use fabric because it's not smooth enough, and I couldn't sculpt them because Sculpey is too brittle. So I did what every American does when faced with a seemingly insurmountable problem, I used to tape to fix it! I got some black electrical tape and cut it to size. Then I just wrapped it on the gloves and hoped for the best. The detail around her neck and waist was sculpted. I painted a silver border on the boots to help break-up the monotony. The gloves were going to have it too but I'm afraid of painting on the flimsy tape, there's no precision, hah. I lost the lightning-earrings I was going to add, I'll post an updated picture when I fix this stuff! And yeah, I know, "her neck is a different shade"! Actually, I don't know what you're talking about :) RC kept all articulation, which is good for kicking thugs in the face.

It's the only decent head I had! :x I'm going to give the next one a head like Sydney's from Danger Girl.
