Basically I began to build a collection of the X-men movie figures in their black leather outfits and I decided to include my version of Gambit - what whe would have looked like if they included him in the team.

The base figue id the Gambit of the X-men 6 inch toy series. I started by painting him all in black acryllic paint. Next I borrowed the coat off the X2 movie series Cyclops. It was a perfect match. And there you have it!! :)

Agreed. Keeps the new age comic-movie look while throwing in lil hints of his colors from the comic. simply but nicely done.
