Danny Rand, the Iron Fist, is one of Marvel pre-eminent martial artists. His partnership with Luke Cage has led to the founding of Heroes for Hire, as well as his joining the New Avengers. He continues to kick butt in his ongoing self-titled series.
I completed this figure years ago, well in advance of the ToyBiz figure. However, while prepping this figure for photos, I retouched the paint job using the dry-brushing technique that I learned on this site! This figure was made completely from the ML Silver Surfer. The sash and shoulder-thingee were made from thin plastic strips, the mask-ties from elastic. The dragon was hand painted. I also 'borrowed' the flame from the TB Iron Fist for the "Iron Fist" effect. Photos by Nara.
