Katara is the last Waterbender in the Southern Water Tribe. She teaches the Avatar waterbending, and becomes a powerful bender herself. Though she was an important character in the series, an official figure was never released. I wanted to do her justice.

I made Katara (Season 1 outfit) from an Aang base, with Sokka's sleeves. Her hair loopies and braid are made from embroidery floss. Clothing is fabric with faux fur trim. Painted with Citadel paints.

Thanks Mr. Mott! I am planning to do a Toph at some point, and I already have done season 3 Azula. I was really disappointed with the lack of female characters in the official line, and plan to make them all.
