This is is a "swap and merge special" to create that certain spider-man that I think of when I hear his name. I tried to make the quintessential classic version to me. I held off from painting it, although I probably will. Those of you who have done a spidey custom and had to put the webs back on back on by hand know why I'm hesitant. I don't want to do the webs as a wash and wipe because I feel it always shows on the plastic seams (visible in a multitude of spidey figures). Plus I find the paint is very close between the ensemble parts (except for the right hand and forearm glove). But now for the recipe:
most of the body: spider strength spider-man
hands: sinister six box set spider-man
head: a spider-man classics figure I found loose in a flea market bargain bin, it had very little articulation in the upper body, and from the hips down a good sculpt (so you may see them turning up here as somebody else). Thanks for the view!
