Went completely postal with the sculpting on this one. Used apoxie on the entire figure, to create the folds/creases on his coverall. Gritted teeth was also sculpted underneath the battered mask, to reveal a second face. The hair is doll's hair, glued then sculpted along the hairline. As a final touch, went with some glow-in-the-dark paint to give the mask a supernatural presence - are you superstitious? Interesting tidbit about the origin of the mask used in the 1st halloween movie: "the mask was intended to have a "blank face", and the william shatner (star trek capt. Kirk) halloween mask was exactly what he needed. It didn't really look like anybody. The eyeholes were cut larger and rounder, removed the eyebrows and sideburns, poofed up the hair so it looked "demented and strange" and finally spray-painted the mask white". The original mask apparently has been sold to a man in ohio who owns 2 haunted houses. Bet he wears it in the shower - who's your betty now lol? In the end credits of the 1st movie, myers was simply referred to as the shape, a character created by director john carpenter, based upon a young schizophrenic boy he visited in a ment- rehabilation center. Thanks for viewing.
