Ok. I promise this is the last time I will submit this type of Blade figure. But I was really proud of the newest feature and had to show it off.
If you have a ML Blade, you know that not only is the plastic in the arms brittle enough to rip if you push it a little too hard in the wrong direction, but you also realize that ToyBiz did this funky thing in the shoulder joint which allows the ball joint to click into place at three specific spots. Kind of limiting, right?
I really like the look of the skin tight, long sleeve shirt from Blade Trinity. I didn't want to paint the arms because I like to pose my figures a lot and hate the chipped paint. The Spiderman Classics Daredevil had the perfect arms for what I wanted to do, except that the pegs are entirely too small to fit securely in Blade's torso.
So, taking a que from the tutorial, I removed the pegs and replaced them with screws. I had to cut the screws down a bit to make the arms stay close to the body, but the finished result is to go gaga over. I lobbed of DD's hands at the wrist and replaced them with the LOTR Boromir hands from my last Blade custom, and now have what I would consider the definitive Blade figure. Let me know what you think.

Sorry Scouser, this one is my all mine. To Wylung, this was the second Blade figure I've owned. The first one actual did get his arm ripped off when I tried to reposition it with his coat on.

sweet job dude, that must of been risky doing the arms like that lol. but it paid off! ya I remember I had two blades. one of them were fine. but the other one's arms were ridiculous on how stiff they were.. I felt like I was going to tear it off everytime I tried moving it. .. great job over all.
