While I'm waiting for some extra cash to buy the elite forces of the republic set, and some other figs, to finish my republic commando custums, I decided to finally fix up my obi wan in clone armor. The original figure from the legacy collection just bothered me for two reasons, first his jedi skirt looked like a woman's miniskirt, showing way too much thigh, and second his heald sculpt looked... Off. I don't like the long haired obi wan from ep. 2, with his mullet and I don't like the way he's growling/frowning. So I decided to do a fix up. Just a very small, easy custom. First I cut up a jedi robe that came with an anakin figure that I prefer without a robe and made a new, longer jedi skirt. I decided to make it a kilt instead of leting it flap in fromt like the original, because I liked it better, just my own taste. Then I simply popped off his head and switched it with the head from the newer legacy obi wan in jedi garb fig, which I think is oddly shaped, so I didn't mins switching heads. Now that fig has the mullet head and this one has the more iconic short hair and beard. Well, there ya go, a nice, easy custom to occupy me while I await all those mando and commando figures from the boxed sets. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!
