Custom #:16328
Name:Demitri Maximoff
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Darkstalkers
Creator:Renmauzo
Date Added:July 22, 2009
Base Figure:Dc Batman
Height:6.00 inches
Another Darkstalkers custom to keep the inspiration going, and this time, it's Demitri Maximoff as custom no.49. I actually had him done right after Pyron technically, but I wasn't happy with the first and eventually second head(s) that I had chosen until I came upon this CvsSNK2 Haomaru head in my parts bin and thought, "Perfect!" There's not much to tell as far as a parts breakdown, but here it is anyway:

Head CvsSNK2 Haomaru w/sculpt for the hair and dremmeling, cut and re-pegged neck line
Body: DC Batman
Cape and clothing accents: DC Batman cape with its trimmings for the overcoat tails (back and front), epoxy for the shirt, collar, ruffles and cuffs, and an ascot from a DC Gentleman Ghost. The studs along the sides of the pant legs are beads cut in with epoxy.

After a comprehensive paint job (he was painted when I was still using Tamiya paints) he was good to go. I hope you folks like him, and I just want to give a shout out to my buddy Niallskie for inspiring this custom with ideas I used from his Demitri custom. I'll be back with more in a few; 'till then...

Cheers,

-Renmauzo

Bro, let me tell ya. I finally fiured out how to post comments and I couldn't wait to give you the 1st! I'm a huge Capcom fan, you can see the influence in teh Nomad I just made because the blue and yellow is so strong/ Capcom.
Anyway, I couldn't wait to compliment you on your work. The rendering and color is on point and I know who you made right away. I don't have to study or debate whether or not they have the correct Sota feel. I will be watching brother, I have a Zabu head from the SDCC 3-pack with Ka-Zar, I was thinking about making a Leo with. Huh? Lil modifying of course, left over from my Griffin project. Sorry about the essay, but you are truly inspirational and I don't give that up to most.

I have to commend you, you don't just make customs from looking at the figures you have and your fodder bin. You make customs that are part of a group and you don't stop until everyone is done and done fantastically. That is not an easy task.
