Ultron was made from an Ultron glider head, Thorbuster Iron Man body, hands from a Neon Evangelion figure (best 'open' style hands I've ever seen!) and Apoxie Sculpted shoulder/arm/shin armor. He was airbrushed silver then given highlights and shading with the airbrush for a really nice 'statue' look. His mouth was done like my Space Armor Ultron, blended for the fade-to-white energy effect. I didn't add the black bubbles this time however but always can later. Add the flame blast from an Icons Iron Man and you have an Ultron to remember!
Any chance you might put together an Airbrush 101 Tutorial? I'm sure I'm not the only noob that would benefit from it.
Ah, my local comic shop used to have a few but they were all the transparent colored-plastic ones. They look like the normal figures but DID NOT hold together, bought one and it broke before I had even opened it. Luckily I saved all the hands, heads and weapons.
Where did you find the Evangelion figure? I started a collection but the darn things are hard to find...
U know the ultron in marvel ultimate alliance the game, has he already been made in to a figure?
Did you re-build the whole chest or did you just dremel off the Iron Man whatchacallit from the middle of the chest and repair that?
