What needs to be said about Marvel's first mutant, Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner? Well, he's a good guy on Monday and maybe Tuesday, then he's teaming up with Doctor Doom to destroy the world on Wednesday. Oh yeah, and he loves his subjects, the Atlanteans, even though they hate him most of the time for being a half-breed with leanings to the surface world! He's a complicated guy...
I depicted Namor in his original costume from the Golden Age. For the figure, I used the ML Sub-Mariner's upper body (head, torso, and upper arms) as well as the ankle wings. The legs are from ML Iceman, and the forearms, hands, and feet are from Weapon X Wolverine. Label tape was used for the pin-striping on the trunks. I also removed his earring and added 'nipples' (I feel like the 'Batman and Robin' director!). As usual, photos by Nara.
