Thor Custom Action Figure

After seeing the movie Pathfinder the other evening, I began to think of what if Thor looked more like a dark, gritty, warlord Viking than his bright primary colored Marvel counter part. Plus I have been wanting to make a Thor custom for a while.
The Hasbro Thor was the perfect base since it already had much of the armor I wanted in its sculpt.
I used the fore arms and shoulder pads from a World of Warcraft figure that I have been pulling fodder off of for a few of my previous customs, chain mail from a Realm of the Claw figure Nakuru, that I have used for my Battle Cats and Panthors. Sculpted the helmet over the usual Thor skull cap to look more accurate like the Norse Viking wore and moved the wings lower down on the helmet. Shaved off the beard which I have been wanting to do after seeing SilayJoker's battle armor Thor. Shin armor is foamie sheet, earphone wire and epoxy. Painted him in browns, pewter, and some gold. Used the cape that came with the base figure with minor adjustments to fit over the new shoulder pads. The cape is removable.
I needed some lightning so I used some twist ties painted metallic blue. They will do until I get some kick a$$ bolts from Stevid.
Thanks for looking. Comments and Feedback are always welcomed.

Probably the best Thor custom I've ever seen; exceptional work! I the painted twist ties work great for lightning, except where they're obviously knotted together--if you melted them a bit, where they connect, you might get a more natural look.

One last Thanks for all the comments and feedback guys.. It was one of those that just came together pretty effortlessly. He will be going up on the bay on Sunday.
OK I got the red lightning from Stevid and made a Base for him to stand on. The base is 3 DC Direct action figure stands glued together for height, and the bottom is a House of M "IT" stand. I sculpted the viking art styled hammer on the base also the rivets along the bottom. Painted with some pewter and brass paint. Carved the Name THOR using rune shaped letters
