Pretty much straight-up repaints for both of them. I tried to make them look clean in alt mode while dirty and weathered in bot mode. I used some subtle blending and highlighting techniques on some bot mode parts for this. I also added decals on Skids' license plate and autobot symbol hubcaps for both cars.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I also think that the characters were a little over the top in the film (as they seem to be directed towards the kids in the audience), but the molds they came up have a lot of detailing and great potential for repaints.

They look really good. I'd end up getting G1 head castings and remaking them lol. They fit in with that stinky turd of a movie perfectly though.

I loved them in the movie I thought it was a great mixture of comedy but I know a lot of ppl didn't like it

Good repaints - but I still despise the character they represented in the film. At the time, jive talking stereotype-robots must have slipped by everyones Politically Correct / good taste filters.
