Ah... a synthetic material. That makes sense - the polyester in the spandex would make the edges look cleaner without needing to finish em' like you would with a cotton based fabric. Thanks for the info.
Is your Steel's cape a single piece of fabric, or two pieces sewn together? the edges look pretty clean - and most fabric when cut gets that raggity edge if it's not finished like clothing seams are.
it hard to explain but here goes nothing u cut about a square of to material of ur choosing then make sure its about an inch away from the figures shoulders, grab the ends and over lap them till the are looking like little zigzags and stich them adust to ur liking and stick to the figure
